This is my 2nd Sonicare toothbrush - the first stopped re-charging after 7 years. Since I've been using Sonicare I've become a "poster child" for clean teeth and healthy gums! Both my hygienist and dentist are extremely pleased when I go for my semi-annual checkups.
Cons: it's hard to find replacement small brush heads
I would recommend this to a friend!

I purchased my first Sonicare in December of 2011. It lasted until Sept. Had it replaced in October. My new one died today...January. They seem to not last long. I like the way the brush works, when it works, but should last much longer. They are a bit gross to keep clean. Not sure how sanitary these things are over time.
Pros: holds charge for long time
Cons: very expensive., replacement heads very expensive, seem to break frequently with regular use, get very dirty in the crack between brush head&bod

Have had this for a little over a year and it quit working. For the price I would have expected it to last for several years at least. Don't think I will be purchasing another

On/Off switch is in a bad location. Constantly turn it off while I am using it. Brush heads do not fit properly on handle mount.

This is my second unit. The first one stopped working after 2 years. The second one which is only 6 months old has the same design flaws as the first one and has not been improved. Unless future models are improved, I will not buy this again.

Good product, except for the zippers on the travel case.

The features on the toothbrush are fine. My issue is with the travel pouches for the device. Both fabric pouches have zippers that do not operate smoothly. They stick and soon will be broken, given the tension needed to open and close them.
Pros: good battery
Cons: zippers

I have had tremendous results from the use of the Sonicare toothbrush. My oral health problems have nearly vanished completely ever since using the brush. I have no problems with it and would buy another without any question to reliability. sincerely, Kevin
