Better than a regular toothbrush hands down

My teeth have never felt cleaner since I started using my Sonic toothbrush. It's like the clean you feel when you leave the dentist office. I give a hearty five stars to this product and would urge anyone considering it, to not wait and get it. It's one of the best purchases I ever made.

I have returned my unit twice. I now have the third one that does not work. I have given up! Customer service reps are excellent and efficient but owning an electric toothbrush shouldn't be this difficult.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great product with one exception:

The power button is located in an inconvenient spot - I keep resetting the timer, or, prematurely shutting the brush off or changing options on the brush. This (or these) switch is located where I grip the base of the brush. Overall, based on a 1-10 scale with a 10 being excellent, I'd rate this brush at a 9.
Pros: great job - like a trip to the hygienist daily.
Cons: that crazy power switch location.

I hate using a normal toothbrush

I LOVE my toothbrush! People laugh at me because I always talk about it- I'm obsessed with it! The company is also great. I had a problem with the mechanics of my toothbrush after a year, and they sent me a new one in no time. My dentist raves about it too, and they can tell I'm using the toothbrush when I go for my cleanings :D

Overall, a good Sonicare brush

If you've used a Philips Sonicare brush before then you know what to expect. This one has different settings you can choose from that make it a more attractive version than some of the others. A downside to this is that you can accidentally change settings mid-brush. Also, I am not sold on the U-V cleaning system but perhaps that's just me.
Pros: a good brush extra settings
Cons: can change settings while brushing

I had an OralB Sonic complete for years until it became so hard to find replacement heads. My dentist recommended SoniCare. Why did I wait so long?
