Battery Issue

This is my second Sonic. The battery on my first Sonic stopped taking a charge after 4-5 yrs of use. For the average person replacing the battery is quite difficult and requires some technical expertise. While the rest of the equipment was in good working order I had to replace the entire unit.
Pros: the best in its class!
Cons: see above.
I would recommend this to a friend!

poor design on controls and no soft brush avaliable.

the controls are placed where your hand hits the buttons and changes the type of brushing all the time. The only brush you can buy is very hard, bad for the gums.
I bought the brush thinking more expensive was better. Not the case! The brush is ok, but way over priced. The replacement brushes are very expensive and extremely hard to get on and off. This is my second one as the first one died within first 9 months and had to be replaced.
Pros: long battery life
Cons: very expensive to maintain, loud, hard to keep clean (base) unless you dry it after

I love this tooth brush. the only problem I see is the button to change the tooth brush functions. it is so close to the on/off switch that I often hit it. The good news is that it is easy to change back (just a bit annoying. )
Pros: easy to change function, does a great job on teeth
Cons: function switch is too easy to hit by accident
I would recommend this to a friend!

Need to fix loose head problem if u don't not worth the price
The Phillips Sonicare toothbrush worked wonders when it was new. Yet after about a year of use, it started turning on by itself in the middle of the night and woke me up several times. Every time I had to get up and turn it off.
Pros: kept my teeth in good shape, cleaned properly, options for teeth with different sensitivity level
