i have had this toothbrush for about one month and i am on my 4th set of batterys.It keeps stopping and i have to pop the bottom of the brush to get it going again.Finnaly i change the batterys and it works good for a few days

Great product & great service

I have had my toothbrush for a year as of Aug 2010 and it was very good. The toothbrush would not charge as of last week. The battery was not charging any more. Sonacare sent us a new one and It works great again and I am very happy to have it working again.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Essence model....

The FlexCare Product is not as good as the one it replaced.
The Button that changes brush modes can be pressed while brushing changing modes. The old design was in my opinion more solid and durable. Better handle grip and the brush head was secure on it. The sizes of the head on the new one is better but the travel head of the old one will remedy that problem. Over all I believe the old model was better than the new one.

In my modes opinion the Philips Sonicare Essence 5300 and alike with a travel head on it is the best toothbrush you have ever produced.
For your information I purchase the FlexCare because the charger on the old one broke. The old essence tooth brush still working if I could charge it.
When my FlexCare goes I will replace it with the Essence or alike.
The replacement heads for the FlexCare model are very expensive for some reason.

Each new model has improved features from the previous one. I especially like the 1- minute mode. Since becoming a Sonicare user, my check ups are great!

On approximately November 14, 2015, the handle refused to operate.
I contacted Philips Consumer Lifestyle and within minutes was assured that the handle would be replaced under warranty.
Within 5 days I received the replacement.
I am totally satisfied with the great service as well as the warranty.

On/Off button and travel case

the on/off button needs moved so I don't hit it accidentally while brushing. I also travel a lot and need a very sturdy traveling case for my toothbrush and toothpaste.
