There are two issues with the product and they are very small and would not keep me from purchasing the product again. When using the product I often find I have touched the button and changed the method of brushing. Also, I have some difficulty removing the head from the base.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My dental hygienist noticed the difference in my gums and teeth immediately, my cleaning was done in half the usual time....the office recommended electric toothbrushes and now I see why! Convinced my daughter to get one, said it was the best thing she'd done and that teeth never really felt clean before when just using a toothbrush. Once you use one you can never go back to a toothbrush.

Solid Toothbrush

My girlfriend has one of the older Sonicare brushes and this one seems to have some good improvements and more features than her's. I have only been using it for a few months so I can't speak to the longevity of it, but so far it is working great.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love my Sonicare!

My husband is a retired dentist. He always recommended and made Soncicare available in his office because he believes in the product. Naturally, we continue not only to use Sonicare, we also give them as gifts.
It is always interesting to see the newer, innovative models come out. This particular model comes with the UV sanitizer, a feature that I really like.
No matter which model you have, there is nothing like "Sonicare clean", unless of course you have just seen your dental hygienest!

I love the different settings which allow for a very thorough cleaning. I also appreciate how long the battery lasts. I have limited space in my bathroom so I cannot keep the toothbrush charged on the base at all times.
Pros: battery life, different settings

Saved my gums and teeth!

I didn't have dental insurance for two years and have history of moderate-severe gum disease with multiple deep pockets > 5mm.
I used sonicare exclusively for my dental hygiene as recommended by my sister-in-law, who is a dental surgical assistant.
At the end of the two years I had my first dental checkup and found that my gums HAD IMPROVED! No pockets over 3mm's!
I have recommended this product to every member of my family.
I would recommend this to a friend!

makes brushing easy

i never thought that i would like the timer. it made me realize that i was not ever brushing my teeth long enough. also, the new selections for refresh, gum, gentle, etc. really make a complete experience.
