Short lifespan

The included warranties are timed specifically to expire right before everything stops working. This was a decent fridge since 2009 when I purchased it, but recently it has just stopped working and getting support from Samsung has been a mixed bag. Calling into the 1800 number I quickly get referred to their local appliance repair group, who admidtly try to avoid doing anything with Samsung as their repair policies are too complicated. The problem is I have no other appliance repair shop that is 'qualified' to service the product.
I also experience many of the issues that others have mentioned. It's a very noisy fridge compared to all the other fridges I've owned.
If I had it to do over I would not purchase this product. Samsung does not make quality Household Appliances, they should stick to TVs.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, bad warranty
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Fridge, Dents easily

Got this fridge due to its counterdepth size, which we really need in our home, and the look as well (all our other appliances are stainless still with the same arched handles).
BUT the freezer door handle is constantly popping off and the doors themselves dent SO easily! I would recommend looking at other fridge if you have kids and no time to stand guard over the fridge.

this is a beautiful Fridge. Great features. Only negative so far, the retractable shelf needs to be just a shade higher to allow milk gallons & half gallons to clear. We lose use of half a shelf. Otherwise, we love it

We like everything about this refrigerator except that the ice maker seems a little slow.

Got a great deal on the product. It meets our needs very well. The shelves that fold in and out are great, the wine holder is convenient, but there is only one design element that I do not care for. The drawers are very shallow. You feel like they get caught on something but they were designed to stop, which makes it difficult to get bulky vegetable out- like broccoli or cabbage. But there is lots of room in the drawers itself... especially for a cabinet depth refrigerator. Overall we love it.

I love the way it feels when you open it. SOLID. That was the main selling feature of the Samsung refrigerator. The LED lighting is great. Like the wine and can holder rack features. So far so good on the performance. I bought the extended warranty just in case. The counterdepth size is worth the extra money. Looks like a built in.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, looks like a built in
Cons: drawers don't come out whole way

The plate with the display got unglued in first month. Sometimes when the power goes of, it starts in Demo mode and you have to reset it. Otherwise, nice refrigerator.
Cons: Poor quality
