The ice maker never really worked properly. Cubed vs. crushed ice was always a decision of the Samsung, not the owner. But now, as soon as the warranty has run out, the ice maker no longer works at all, even after trying everything suggested here.
Cons: Poor quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Our ten year old refrigerator bit the dust and we needed a quick replacement. We found this Samsung model that fit our needs exactly. Right size, right features and better than right price. Another Samsung product in our home.

Looks great - very quiet

Looks great. Very quiet. stylish water/ice dispenser. Large interior capacity. great interior lighting. Only frustrating negatives are the shelves and door bin configuration. The upper gallon door bin is too high, and therefore interferes with the can holder. The salad drawers do not open very far (but I've got used to them quickly) and the wine / bottle rack is too close to the top glass shelf to hold a 2L bottle of pop. Apart from these annoying design issues that could have been easily thought through, the rest is great and we are very happy.
Pros: stylish - looks great, interior lighting
Cons: poor layout of shelving
I would recommend this to a friend!

This Refrigerator run's so smooth and quiet that you have to
open the door once in a while just to see if it is running. I love the light that is in the Refrigerator and the freezer side.
