So I recently became a new homeowner and in the process of renovating my mom's house I decided to purchase a new TV. Admittedly, I have a bias towards Samsung products, I own more than my fair share and have had my family and friends slide over to their product line as well. But, I wanted something that was both beautiful and had a solid performance background. Samsung to the rescue, and they have done a fantastic job with this item. The colors are so rich, and deep. I couldn't wait to see what this TV would be like so I set it up even before we have cable installed. It reached and went above and beyond even what I expected. Well worth the purchase.....don't believe me? Try one and experience it for yourself. You won't be sorry.

best TV ever. beautiful color. watched a NFL game in 3D what a site. The 3D glasses worked great only had 4 glasses and there was 6 of us. Loved the hub that goes with this TV. I used router in wall to hide the to cables that go to TV. The ARC makes the 7.1 system I have sound unbelievable.

I purchased this TV online and is not yet available in the stores. Having said that, some features have not yet been fully implemented yet. Many of the apps have Coming Soon when they are opened. I was told the apps are going through a verification process and will be working in the week of March 16th. I was able to view 4K videos on youtube and they looked awesome and they played very smoothly.
The first thing I had to so was pair the remote by holding two buttons on it for 3 secs. Then there was an easy setup. Amazingly it set up my cable box for remote input without having to tell it the brand or model.
The default Standard picture mode seemed a bit too muted for me, and the Dynamic mode a bit too bright so I elected to go with the Natural mode which was just right for me. Also, I preferred the Clear motion to the Standard motion. The HDMI UHD color mode is defaulted to off. This is used to optimize 50P/60P 4:4:4 or 4:4:2 signals.
I feel that the curved display does in fact enhance the viewing experience when watching from the front. The picture is bright and vibrant, the best I've seen.
The pointer feature is easy to use. The trick is to point at the center of the screen before putting your finger on the pointer button on the remote.
If you want a good future proof TV, you can't do any better than the JS9500.

The TV became black one day . No picture at all for 24 hours . No maintenance or repair were done and it came back alive again

I have tried them all from the best plasmas to OLED and while every display has its good and bad points this is the best display I have seen.
PROS
1. incredible color
2. Up-conversion to 4K is amazing with great detail
3. Super fast processor loads streaming apps super fast
4. excellent black levels

6. Style and build quality
7. HDR ( I cannot wait)

Got this tv the last of November and had done some research on it, but because of my previous tv was a Samsung and was very happy with it, I didn't think twice about getting another Samsung! There isn't much true 4k material out there, but you can find some on Youtube, it is just jaw dropping when you view true 4k! I like the one connect it is upgradeable without buying a complete tv, just upgrade the one connect! Only con is I have seen some ghosting in the black ares's which is somewhat dissapointing acct this is supposed to be their flagship model! But I don't notice it too much and it may be some of the programming and compression used! Overall i'm very satisfied with the tv, picture is amazing even on regular HD from Dish!

Cons: some ghosting in the blacks!

This TV is awesome! Beautiful TV, outstanding performance, and the picture is jaw dropping. The software very user friendly and allows for more customization than previous versions. One of my major concerns with 4K UHD TVs was input lag when playing games. When "Game Mode" is set to on... there is absolutely no lag when playing even high frame rate games like Call of Duty Advance Warfare. I highly recommend this TV.
