Great tv

Purchased this TV and it arrived about a week ago. Picture quality is excellent, sound from TV speakers is good, but coupled with the new curved sound bar it's great. Setup is easy, directions are poor, but fortunately not actually needed as the programming walks you through the setup. It's a great TV with lots of features and a very clear and bright picture.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, one connect

The quality of the images is fantastic. Very elegant design and pleasurable to watch BD movies and 3D content. The voice recognition feature is a pain to turn off. Finally did some research and turned it off. Samsung needs to make this user freindly.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: intuitive user interface to turn features off

This set is by far the best set I've ever owned. Before I brought this set I had a hard decision between two other equally greatsets. The x940c and the lg oled, I ultimately chose this set for multiple reasons. The oled just has too many QC issues currently and the 940c's future capabilities were questionable. The one connect for Samsung is a big selling point right now as things are constantly changing. When spending this kind of money you don't want to be left wondering if your set will be compatible with future hdr content so I choose this set.
The blooming on my set is very minimal and hardly noticeable even with movie credits. The blacks and dynamic range on this set are incredible. The uniformity of the back light and panel are excellent. I have zero issues, picture quality wise, which is pretty rare with lcd. I only have one gripe and that's with the software causing the set to freeze ocasionally.
The speakers are pretty decent quality,but I'd still recommend a sound bar or larger system.
Lastly if you want the most future proof set this is the one to get. You will not regret purchasing this set. After viewing HDR content on this set it will ruin everything else for you. The content is sometimes bright and offers more color and detail. This results in things looking amazingly realistic. This tv displays it well and It's simply amazing.

I'm Addicted to This Smart TV

I did a lot of analysis of available Smart TVs on the market. I didn't want to spend more than I had to on a 65" model, but after seeing the differences in picture quality, I settled on investing more money for a TV I know I could enjoy for years to come. The TV arrived safely to my home, I am fairly technical, however, once everything was set up and I powered on the TV, it was a simple step-by-step setup to get the TV operational. This if the first Smart TV I've owned, so I can't compare the usability against another brand. I bought a 52" Samsung TV about 6 years ago and am very happy with it, but I can tell you that this Smart TV blows away my 6-year old model.
I believe Samsung makes some of the best electronic products on the market. If you consider a purchase, I can assure you that you will not be disappointed. The screen image is phenomenal is this 4K SUHD TV. I wish I could view real 4K content from my cable provider, but they are not there yet. The upscaling feature does a good job of taking a 1080P image, and showing it in 4K resolution. The picture quality is fantastic, and the ease and simplicity of using the smart remote make it even better.
I wasn't a big fan of curved TVs, but after seeing and comparing a flat screen to the curved models, I was easily won over.
Overall, this is a great TV, I look forward to many years of happy viewing. Spend as much as you can to get the most features you can, technology changes quickly, so my motto is buy the best that is available and you'll be happy that you did. I would have personally bought a 78" model, but the cost delta was prohibitive.

This tv is outstanding. The resolution even with 1080p content is so impressive. I can not wait for more 4K sources to be available. The only this I'm not crazy about is the motion smoothing looks incredible but causes some juddering. I would definitely buy this tv again.

Absolutely stunning picture

Went into the store with the intent of looking seriously at the 7500 or 8500, as I figured the curved screen was an expensive gimmick that added hundreds of dollars to the price. Still not sold on the curved screen, as there are only two of us at home, watching TV at a distance of 14' and at a narrow viewing angle.
However I wound up with the UN65-JS9500 because the picture quality and vibrant colors (even in a fluorescent-lit store) were so much better on that model. At home, and without any settings adjustments (yet) it is simply gorgeous.
After 5 weeks we are still thrilled and still commenting on the sharpness of the picture, the vibrant colors, the blackness of the blacks, etc. This TV replaced a 4-year-old 55" Samsung HDTV, and the difference between HDTV and 4K is not as striking as the move to HDTV; however we're quite pleased.
There apparently is a problem with the M-Go compatibility (and the two free 4K movies that came with this TV) so I haven't been able to access those, and we haven't yet seen any 4K content (other than some YouTube 4K video), but the up-scaling of cable broadcasts and our DVD collection still make this a worthwhile purchase. When true HDR (eventually) becomes available I expect to be even more impressed.
I like the included remote but miss a lot of functionality that came with the remote with a number pad and more buttons (even though some of it is replaced by my Harmony Ultimate remote.) I understand that previous models came with both remotes, and I'm disappointed that Samsung decided to 'cut corners' on their flagship model by omitting the extra remote.
The major con is the price, but I figure (from what I've seen in stores and what I've read in various reviews) this is the best picture quality I can get without going to an OLED display, which is much more expensive.
Pros: hdr-ready, future-proof one-connect box
Cons: pricy, omitted remote w/ buttons

In my opinion, Samsung has blown the doors off it's competition with the SUHD JS9500 Series TV.
I recently purchased the SUHD UN78JS9500 Model Samsung after reading many online reviews and talking with my Audio/Video dealer. I am extremely pleased with the Unit and would recommend it to anyone interested in purchasing an SUHD set!

I bought this TV on May, 2016. I saw it before on display at a retailer dealer. I was right, I could see the difference. I enjoy watching programs from my cable provider because this model does enhance and upscale the HD format: beautiful picture. I am learning now the features this model can offer. I am glad to have this UN65SJ9500 at home. My family is very happy watching 3D movies and Netflix series. Thanks.
