BEST 4K SUHD TV

This set took my breath away at the store. I kept comparing it to the OLED set that was next to it and this one simply blew me away....next to the perfect blacks on the OLED, this model raises the bar and can easily be the reference model that all the UHD/SUHD models out there from either Samsung or any other brands, will need to follow. I'm not even going to mention the perfect (almost 4K) picture from a blu-ray movie, because I usually like to make a more realistic comparison. No one buys a TV just to watch movies, in this case blu-ray movies, so we have to make sure our set can deliver the best resolution from the program feed pulled from our provider, whether is cable or satellite. In my case, I'm counting on the 1080P resolution coming from my Xfinity X1 feed.
Let's just say CNN looks astonishing. You will see details you'll never seen before. Any prime time shows you've watched previously, you'll experience them in a new way. I don't think it's necessary to have the TV's picture mode set to vivid all the time. For everything that I watch, I set mine to "natural" and tweak it a bit to my satisfaction. This set is so bright, you might have to set it to "movie" mode at night to minimize eye strain, depending on the lighting available in your viewing room at that moment.
Can't wait for a 4KUHD blu-ray player with HDR to fully experience what this set can deliver. For now if you're a Amazon Prime member, you can watch a lot of the shows in Ultra UHD.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Lightweight, one-connect box
Cons: pricey but worth every penny.

I love my tv

I just wanted to by the latest technology in TV and that is a 4k, Curved tv!!!. I hadon't another smart TV, so I knew what to expect on that end, it just wasn't Samsung. I just wish I could have got the same TV with the 3d option before it got discontinued. Oh well even without 3d and 4k broadcasting wI think cable or satellite, the HD capabilities are still crisp even though it has to upscale since everything is mostly 1080p
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, the curve brings out a new depth within the tv, the controller
Cons: not to many ways to get the full 4k experience...., no more 3d i'm that model for that price
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought the TV on April 1st, up and running within 30 minutes after mounting it on the wall.
Setup was easy to navigate. Picture Quality on 4K was awesome. better than I had dreamed of.
This was well worth the investment. I can't wait till all my friends and family see it. Can you spell "ENVY". Now off to make popcorn and watch a movie. I can't wait....
Pros: Realistic color
Cons: i can't think of one thing to say.

THe best 4K tv on the market, it is better than the 2016 Samsung SUHD since this one has 3D capabilities.
The only one sad thing is that Samsung removed Skype from Hub and did'n replace with other app for video call.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Durable, Built-in speakers
Cons: no skype support

This TV at one point was extremely expensive but now that the 2016 models are available, this model is more affordable. It's harder to find but worth it once purchased. Full array, built in camera, strong wifi and top of the line picture.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Durable, Built-in speakers

I have never seen a TV deliver the way this one does. The colors are so vivid, the brightness is perfect. The sound is incredible. And the simulated surround has you turning your head. 4k looks so fantastic and even anything in 720 or 1080p, when up converted automatically, look great. I can see the difference in this TV and my other 4k that is side light filled. What a difference in the way the screen looks. I never saw it before.
Pros: Bright display, Built-in speakers, quality build
Cons: expensive

Best TV I've ever seen!

A little pricey, but you get what you pay for!
I recently upgraded from a 55" Samsung UHD TV, flat, the 8550 model. It has an 8 bit panel that can display 16 million, or so, colors. This UHD TV, the js9500, has a 10 bit panel that can display over 1 billion. In the future a 12 bit panel will be able to display 68 billion colors. We'll get there, but it might not be necessary!
This TV I have mainly hooked into a gaming computer. The NVIDIA 980ti can output 8 bit color with 4:4:4 chroma subsampling, and the JS9500 can handle that if you put it into PC mode. You can switch it to 10bit, but the text will get a little fuzzy, so I haven't seen the benefit yet.
The colors and depth to this display have blown my mind. Especially with the "Smart LED" feature activated the screen can get completely black with only parts of the screen that need to be on, turned on. The Witcher 3, Skyrim, and other games look much more alive with color, and the curve helps give the games a depth that is hard to describe. I'm experiencing no visible input lag. This TV has been rated to have I believe around a 26ms input lag, which is pretty much the best you can get with a UHD TV.
We won't really see the true benefits of HDR and the 1 billion colors this TV can produce until the 4k Blurays come out later this year, but I cannot wait!
As a side note, this TV, and many others, can suffer from something called Black Light Clouding. It's mostly visible when the screen is displaying a dark or black picture. Turning on "Smart LED" feature eliminates this issue, HOWEVER for those that it will bother, like myself, there is a very easy way to fix this. Use your search engine to look up "back light clouding fix". I had quite an eye sore in the bottom right corner of the screen but I got rid of it completely! No need to return it, or call tech support. Simply massage the screen with a microfiber cloth until it goes away. (Please read about it first before attempting!)
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Durable, curved, low input lag, hdr, 10bit
