Cannot upgrade Windows XP Pro with Vista Home Prem

What's great about it: The box is real pretty.
What's not so great: After waiting 30 minutes for computer to do something - Vista Premium upgrade informed me that I could not upgrade only clean install from Windows XP Pro only Vista Business or Premium
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have a windows xp media center edition desktop. and i just got a studio 15 laptop core 2 duo 2.0ghz 3gb ram 256mb ati graphics card 250gb hd.
so far there is nothing the vista couldnt do that a xp could. no crashes all my games installed and played perfectly and some of the extra features on the vista premium is pretty nice. When i turned it on for the first time it hogged 1.27gb ram. close the gadgets and random apps and i got it down to 0.87gb. I like it.

What's great about it: options, customization
What's not so great: it asks you "are you sure?" on almost all the programs you download and install. also it seems like the 64 bit version has updates every week lol. not a big problem though. one of the updates made me boot my computer in safe mode but 20 min later another update came out and fixed the problem. its all good now.
I would recommend this to a friend!
