This TV was bought back in November of 2008. I'm just now writing the review because I wanted to see how the TV would perform over a little time. I have had no problems at all. The only reason that I didn't give a five star rating for performance is because, the TV is not as sharp and clear as I expected. But mind you, I had heard so much hype about the TV that I had expected it to be absolutely perfect. It is close to perfect though!
I would recommend this to a friend!

After 1 year experience some problems: pic disappeard for 2-3 sec, whan chnging channels flush

No picture, just sound, poor internal design flaw.

prevalent problems with this and many others like it from Sammy due to poor design of t-con boards and intermittent power supply issues. Steer clear!

I have to say that for value and performance you can't go wrong with a samsung. This tv is amazing. Everyone that has come over and watched tv on this set loves it. The picture is amazing and I love the touch of color.

Still Impressed A Year Later

We really love our TV. We bought our Samsung after trying another brand (which we returned to the store) and the Samsung just has a much better picture. Even though technology has improved (LED backlights, 3D) since we bought our TV, I still love the picture every time I watch a High Def TV program or a regular or Blue-Ray DVD.
Performance has remained fantastic and not a single problem since it came out of the box. Well done Samsung!
