The HDTV to buy

I bought my first HDTV this summer and the LN46a650 has exceeded my expectations. The red tint bezel (Touch Of Class) is totally cool. I have a picture window that faces to the south, so we have direct lateral sunlight. This TV is not affected by the light at all. It's HD pictures are awesome and we have connected a PS3 for the Blu-ray player and that is spectacular. By all means, upgrade the cables for your existing peripherals to the best they can handle, becaue this TV even makes plug-Nplay games look better, let alone a Wii!

Great Investment

Upon purchasing my LN46A650A1F LCD TV, I was overwhelmed by the picture quality and features. At first my wife thought that the investment was too much for a television but after a few weeks admitted that the purchase was well worth the investment. She noted that television and movie viewing is better than she could have ever imagined. The kids experience thier gaming at a level that brings new life to old games and I can't imagine watching sports as it was before. Thanks for the technology and incredible quality.

Amazing TV

I first fell in love with the picture of the 71 and 81 series that preceeded the new series by Samsung. I waited until the price dropped, and made the purchase when I switched to Directv service. I can't tell you how happy I have been with the purchase. First, the TV is very simple to set-up. It has a ton of settings to customize the picture's settings to get the best picture possible. It is easy to do firmware upgrades as well. After getting everything set-up, WOW! First, the Directv feed looks great. It is great in HD of course, but it also does a great job with SD. Even more amazing is the quality with DVD. I have an upconvert Denon DVD player and got to hook it up with HDMI for the first time as I had an older Sony HD set before. The DVD's look 3-D! I have even had guests over that asked if it was a "new 3-d TV!" I can't wait to get a Blu-Ray player to see what the TV's full potential is. The negatives of LCD compared to Plasma are non-existent. The black levels are great, and the 120hz auto motion plus eliminates motion-blur. If you want to read a great review, go to cnet.com. They rated the 52" version of this TV as an editor's pick and one of the best TV's to buy. In today's technology, you get what you pay for, and this TV is well worth the price. I hope to add another one of these to my bedroom in the future! If you are in the market for a new TV, this is the one to buy!

Great Value for the Buck!

This is the second Samsung LCD (LN46A650) television I have purchased and I have to say that it is even better than the first. The black levels are much better. The colors are more vivid. The 120Hz greatly reduces motion blur compared to my first 60Hz model and the Touch of Color has a unique look. Needless to say, I'm impressed. I would not hesitate to recommend this model to anyone.

Excellent LCD TV

I have always owned Sony Tvs, so this is my first Samsung. I bought it in July and have been very happy since. I have it wall mounted and have been so impressed with picture quality. It was a very difficult decision to make after owning so many sonys in the past but I'm glad I did it. I have reccomended this TV to a number of people. Get this TV as prices have gone down since I bought mine.

The LN46A650 has more than met all expectations
that I had for an HD TV. I have had this TV for about 4 months and it is absolutely amaszing. I have had several friends to buy a samsung HD TV once they experienced mine. They leave the competition in the dust pure and simple.

Buy this TV!

I shopped for televisions for about four months prior to purchasing this TV. The initial question was size, then 60hz vs 120 hz. After reviewing specs and making a store visit, I decided to go with 120 hz, then decided on the Samsung LN40A650. However, factoring in the size of my living room, (and a local sale) I decided to go with the 46". I couldn't have picked better. Even when I took my wife to the store to pick it up, she commented on how one particular display TV was simply better than everything else on the wall. I told her "That's the one we're buying." I couldn't be happier. It is TOTALLY worth the extra money to get the 120hz display, as well as the money to go with the 650 over the 630 series. The sharpness of HD channels is amazing, and the auto motion plus literally makes the images almost more real than real life. On top of that, the Touch of Color really makes this a classy looking TV. Stop shopping around; it's better than the Sony, so just buy it already!

Great Picture

This is an excellect LCD TV with the best picture quality compared to the others out there. My only complaints are that the picture-in-picture function does not work with cable TV, and I was not satisfied with the sound quality from the TV itself, but that's what sorround sound systems are for!
