I purchased this HDTV in May 2008 and love the picture quality The 550 series has more features than other higher priced competitor's models. Highest Contrast ratio and most HDMI inputs in this price range.

The picture quality of this tv is amazing. My wife and I love it. We did a lot of research and deciided our purchase would be a Samsung or Sony, we opted for the Samsung and have no regrets.

Great TV but beware.

I really like this TV but I had to replace it after twenty days of use because the power source went out. Be aware of your store's return/exchange policy before purchasing I liked the TV so much that I wanted a replacement instead of another brand of TV. The colors are vibrant and the swivel stand is a great feature.

Very happy with this LCD TV

This is our first LCD television set. We purchased it about 6 months ago after reading many positive reviews from other consumers. The picture looks fantastic when viewing high definition channels. The blueray movies look magnificent, as well as videogames. The colors are bright and crisp and the black level is just right. Prior to purchasing this set, I was interested in knowing how reflective the screen would be, since the room is very bright with many windows, I must say that this is not a problem with this set when viewing in the daytime. Likewise the viewing angle is quite wide, (people sitting at different angles across the room can view the picture without a problem). I would say that nightime viewing is breathtaking, better than going out in the cold to the movie theater. I agree with the other review that the sound quality coming out of the tiny speakers is not the best, but seriously, if you purchase a high definition set like this you will most likely want to have a surround sound to enhance the theater experience. This is a great LCD set we have not had any problems with it since we purchase it, no dead pixels either. Thanks Samsung for a great product!

We are extremely pleased with our 46" LNA46550 LCD TV. The picture amazes us every evening not to mention our friends. We have a constant gathering at our house to watch football games.....the VERY best value for your money.

This TV is awesome. I love the look of it and the picture quality is top notch. Sure the speakers aren't the best. I knew that going in and I run the audio through my surround sound. I searched for a long time and always came back to this one. If you want a great looking TV with great picture quality at an affordable price, this is it.
