Big Difference Over CRT

Owned the TV for only a few days but am well pleased so far. Set up was easy. Everything worked right out of the box. Suppose I will have to buy a surround sound to complement the picture. Cost more than I had intended to spend and more than comparable size other brands but good reviews from several sources convinced me. I tend to keep things a long time, so I expect years of service from this unit.

Movie and Video Game Lovers Dream

I have had this TV for about 4 mounths now and couldn't be happier. The Quality of picture is amazing, mind blowing when hooked up to Blue Ray or Xbox 360/PS3. By the way there is no lag time on high twich games like Halo3, Gears of War2, or Call of Duty WaW as long as the tv is on game mode. This is my first LCD or even a true big screen. I had a JVC 36" tube tv which weighed upwards of 200lbs and most of that was in the screen. I was going to buy a Pioneer Elite LCD or a Sony Bravia, then I went to Bestbuy and acually got to compair the tv's side by side. This is where the Samsung really shined. There was no comparison the clarity of the Samsung was head and sholders above the other two. I Don't know if the tv was just set up better but that is what sold me. The only complaints I have is that when scrolling threw video sorces and menues it seem to lag a little.. Make sure not to have your cable or satilite box to close to the tv it has a tendancy to "grab the signal" from the box makeing it really iratating when trying to simply change channels. The tv is a little pricy but if you are looking for amazing picture quality this tv is much more afordable than others with the same picture quality.

The best TV I've ever viewed!!

I've had my TV now for 3 months and my wife hates to hear me talk about how great the picture is. I am still just thrilled at how crystal clear the pictures are. It didn't look this good in any of the stores. I love all the features and the easy to navigate menus. I have not hooked up my computer or an Ethernet cable to my TV yet, but I may soon, just to see how they work. I love this machine and have not regretted my purchase at all! I highly recommend this television to anyone who is interested in high quality and value.

Excellent 120 Hz Samung 52 inch LCD

I recently purchased this 52 inch LCD TV. Some criterias for my Purchase were as follows:
1. sufficient amount of input source adapters with scalability
2. Ease of operation
3. True Color, contrast depth, with ability to custom configure
4. Decent amount of audio levels
5. Speed of operations & Fast response time
6. Fast refresh rate to get clear and crisp fast action videos
7. Value tor $$$

Based on my above basic criteria's I was excited to find Samsung LN52A650 a LCD TV that satisfy and in some case exceed the above expectations. To start with the design and the "TOUCH OF RED" concept is very refreshing. The panel itself is excellent producing great pictures. Especially, when I hooked up my Blu-Ray player the 1080p came to life displaying some breathtaking details. I have decided to revisit my video library and see if I can see some of the older movies in Blu-Ray.
I highly recommend this TV to any one aspiring to make that leap from traditional tube TV to newer technology.

Should have upgraded long ago......

This TV is wonderful. I was a little worried about the Touch of Color but after reading other reviews and seeing the TV in my home it is not a factor. Very crisp picture and user friendly. Still trying to fine tune because there are so many options to change, but not overwhelming.
I upgraded from an analog TV to this digital, HD model and it was well worth it. These TVs are like computers and you have to pay for the technology, good thing though the prices are coming down on TVs just like computers have also come down in price. The wheel on the remote is also easy to get comfortable with unlike some of the reviews I read. Thanks Samsung and that non-profit review magazine for your input!
