TV with stunning graphics!

When I first bought this TV back in early June of this year, just wanted to get a bigger screen TV as my 40" 720p Samsung was getting some abuses by my 3-year always drawing something with his Crayola and fingers. But as I was not planning to upgrade to gigantic size TV's in the near future, finally decided that 52" should do the trick.
When finally narrowed down to this model, some people who bought the TV when it first came out reported a rather sporadic turn-off problems. But when I saw the demo at a store, I was sold on the graphics and overall design.
In the early introduction of Samsung's Touch of Color with red accent on the bezel edges, was not particularly thrown off by it unlike some critics as the graphics and 1080p with the-more-the-better 4 HDMI and HDMI-CEC functions were my focus.
To truly appreciate this TV's stunning graphics, just tune into any digital broadcast in 1080i alone and you will see the dramatic differences. When a friend was viewing a Bluray movie, he compared the graphics to those of when people jumped over from VHS tape to DVD - that transition was dramatic and people jumped into DVD right away. As long as you have some forms of 1080p signal feeding into this TV, you will appreciate your purchase and TV.
Sometimes the TV's HDMI-CEC freezes or hangs which not sure if this is the DVD player or Bluray, kind of slow menu navigations from time to time, touch-sensitive menu buttons on the TV are hard to see, and making some insane cracking noises when I turn off other connected devices.
Otherwise, this is one great TV with highly recommended design, graphics, price and work great with other Samsung devices.

Highly recommend this high quality TV. Great picture quality and reddish tinge on the frame. I have a living room with mostly earthy colors and this TV frame goes really well with this color scheme

You will not be disappointed with this TV. Styling is nice. Even if you are not crazy about the reddish frame, it is really very subtle and does not stand out too much. Picture is absolutely incredible and worth every penny that you would pay over a lower model TV.

The Best Picture still

I have always been a fan of Samsung computer moniitors. They have always been unbeatable in detail.
This past Sept. my wife and I were looking for a new LCD TV. As far as TV's are concerned I felt that Sony had the edge on all other companies. I didn't even consider Samsung. I don't know why. We went to an electronics store and as we entered you could see all the TV's displayed on the back wall of the store. There must have been about 100 TV's in all. There were several TV's that just stood out in the crowd. As we approached I paid most attention to those TV's. To my surprise they were all Samsung TV's. The detail was incredible on the Samsungs my old favorite Sony was good but NOT great when displayed next to the Samsung. We were not planning on getting anything bigger than a 42" LCD at 720p. Well needless to say we ended up getting the LN52A650. The salesman gave us a great price so we upped our choice.
This tv has the best picture by far than any other. It has so many adjustment features. I would like to be able to use the info link but Samsung hasn't released the
WIS08BG network stick yet. Can't wait. The style of the TV is beautiful. It has the Touch Of Class Red shading on the top and bottom of the frame. Once it was attached to a Blu-Ray player the whole world just stopped. Blu-ray movies are so stunning on this TV that you will find yourself watching movies that you were not interested in before just to see the stunning detail that Samsung has engineered into this TV. I'm talking about Jaw Dropping Stupid look on your face because you just can't believe what your eyes see. I highly recommend that you go to your nearest electronics store and just look. Unless your vision is blurry, you will buy a Samsung 1080p TV. I would recommened the LN52A650. Take it home, hook it up, and sit back. A bib would help, because I know you will have the Jaw Dropping Stupid Look on you Face and the world will stop. Enjoy the trip.
P.S. Sports are better than being there. I like football and auto racing. I can't get myself to go see them in person. The detail just isn't there.

Purchased the A650 after looking at all of the other brands. I have always liked Sony products, but I thought the Samsung 52 inch A650 looked much better. And then after the purchase, Samsung sent me the wireless interface adapter for the live information stream available through the internet. Excellent television, excellent company, and I will buy another television from Samsung!

This is my second Samsung and not my last. I also bought a Samsung Blu-Ray disc player, which completes the package. Now I get a great picture with hi-def all the time. When I'm watching TV I expect the best, and thats what I have. My original Samsung purchase was a 62" DLP TV, 7 years ago and it still works like new. What more could you ask for.

I was taken back by how amazing this TV is. The Color is great and so is the refresh rate. I now enjoy watching movies at home more then seeing them at a Theater. I have yet to find anything I don't like about this TV. I highly recommend it.
