Good Picture

Started off wonderful. In 2weeks had to do a firmware update to fix the shutting off issue. That cured the problem. Again it seemed to be great TV again. After the warranty ran out 1yr. 3months it would not turn on again. Lucky I bought a 3yr extended warranty. called service company and they sent out someone in 2 days to pick it up. It took the service people one month to get the defective power supply that had went bad. Found this problem after search on web of this fairly common problem. Make's me wonder if this was a good purchase!

"I have had this TV for about 8 mounths now and couldn't be happier. The Quality of picture is amazing, This is my second LCD and by far the best. "The tv is a little pricy but if you are looking for amazing picture quality this tv is much more afordable than others with the same picture quality."

I have had this tv for over a year and absolutely love it. It has everything you need in an LCD and enough inputs for all of your "toys". The viewing angle is incredible; you will not be disappointed. I have and will continue to recommend this tv to friends/family.

This model had issues with the known problem "auto on" and died after a burst of on than offs.Returned to store and was replaced with the 630 model.Hope this one last longer than the 650 did.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am an AV guy at Cal State LA and in 2006 I started to reserch LCD TVs for campus and for personal usage. I had always thought that when it came to an LCD SONY or SHARP would be the best product to buy. As soon as I started to do my research I ended up seeing that the top rated TV by consumers was the SAMSUNG. I took a look at it and tested it compared to a 52 inch Sharp and Sony and there was no denying that the picture quality that a SAMSUNG had was what I was looking for. When a general consumer looks at a TV they want brightness, sharpness, colors and just an overall picture quality and SAMSUNG offers the best picture quality I saw on any TV. Its been a year since I purchase my TV and have no regrets and love surfing the net on it, playin XBOX, watching Blu-Ray, and HD Cable programing. The only thing I am dissapointed in are the speakers, the speakers are pinting down instead of out to the front. By them pointing down the sound bounces off the stand I have it on thus making the audio low. But the overall product makes up for that.

Best proven LCD HDTV set to date!

This HDTV has won numerous awards among LCD sets (Consumer Reports, etc.). Picture quality is absolutely amazing! Sound quality is pretty good, but will be much better with a home theater system. A lot of stores are having big discounts on this model because there are newer models in the stores now (Samsung LED), but I still highly recommend buying the Samsung LN52A650!

Very clear picture. Very modern and the "Touch Of Color" adds to my decor. I get a lot of compliments from visitors. I love this TV.

I'm more than a bit of a home theater nut, and I was looking to upgrade my 4 year old technology (also a Samsung) so I purchased this TV. I selected this one because it was the highest rated LCD TV in Consumer Reports, and my 42 inch Samsung LCD (which this replaced) was outstanding. Everyone that has seen this TV has the same comment. The picture is so good that it's better than being there live. The clarity, resolution, features and functionality are all outstanding. It took next to nothing to set it up, and the menu functionality is self defined. Another Great Samsung product.
