This coffee maker is not designed to be used with a permanent mesh filter, but with paper filters. I have several cups per day. This is the 4th Black Decker small coffee maker I purchased. Had two when I worked many years ago. Third lasted for many years since retiring 2016. Hope I get similar years from this one.

Great Little Coffee Maker

I originally bought this for my office. Sadly, my B&D 12 cup coffee maker passed after only 14 years. Now this little guy is my primary go to for morning java. It works well, and it's quiet!
I would recommend this to a friend!
