Perfect size!

I bought this coffee pot over a year ago to have on my desk at work. It's the perfect size and I have had no issues with it whatsoever and I use it every single day. I did break the carafe yesterday though and I am in the same boat that I'm unable to find a replacement carafe online for Black and Decker that is the right size for this pot. I see other people have had this issue as well. Help, I need my little coffee pot back to make it through my day at work!

We want to make 4 cups and can't see using a 12 cup pot. Looked for a black coffee maker, the white ones stain quickly. Don't want another clock to set, I unplug it when I'm done. I have been happy with many B&D products, they keep on working.

Gets the job done

I've had this coffee maker for about a year now. I only use it to make 1 mug size and it tastes fine. I like that it takes up very little space on my counter. As far as smells or tastes of plastic, I have not noticed any. I guess a timer would help and if you pour the pot too fast the lid may pop up a little too much and some coffee will spill out. But really minor problems. Great value for the price!

I now have two of these items, one for each floor level in my townhouse. Just wish they sold the coffee pitcher itself for a reasonable price, because breaking one is why I had to buy a whole coffee maker. Makes excellent coffee.

I just wanted a coffeemaker that makes coffee in small amounts because I am the only one in my house that drinks coffee. This one suits me fine. There is no clock or timer etc. There is only one thing I don't like and that is that I think the coffee should be just a little bit hotter.

5-cup coffee maker

I bought this coffee maker 4 days ago. I did the initial run through a cycle with water to clean out.....worked fine. The next morning I made a pot of coffee and it leaked all over the counter! The next two days, worked great. I'm reserving judgement until I've had it a little longer. I do like the size, it's easy to clean, and it keeps the coffee hot. I'll post another review at a later date.

Great coffee maker and no brew interrupt!

I have two of this model, one in black, one in white. The best feature of this coffeemaker is the fact that it DOESN'T have the brew interrupt. Most coffee makers now have the spring in the floor of the basket which allows one to remove the carafe mid brew and keep it from pouring all over the heating element. But if you prefer to place a large cup under the basket to fill directly into it instead of a carafe, it's not possible with a brewstop model. This one is great for a typical 5 cup use with carafe, but it's unique in that it allows the optoin to brew directly into a cup, instead of the carafe. As one who likes a lot of cream in my coffee, I can place the cream in my cup, place the cup under the coffee brew stream, and heat it all at once. This in the only coffee maker you can still do this with.

This coffee maker makes a good cup of coffee. However, there is no shut off when the pot is removed and there is dripping from the filter basket, even after the brewing cycle is complete. The heating element burned out after only 2 months of use. [maybe 50 pots] I bought the maker just before Christmas and now the retailer does not carry the model and will not make a refund. I replaced it with a Mr. Coffee, more features and less money.
