Does after 6 years?

I am disappointed to see all these lousy reviews but our Kitchen Aid Microwave Model KCMS2055SSS-2 has stopped working. Lights up, been a great microwave but seems young to have problems. Label shows made in Aug. 2011 bit installed later..
Double Oven, fridge and Dishwasher all Kitchen Aid.
We like the appliances, features, performance and design. Freinds have bought same Series after sering ours.
What is solution?

Failed like all the others

Owned since 11/2009. Been operating fine until today, when it stopped heating. Like other reviewers I expect a lot more life from a high-end microwave.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poor door latch release

The pushbutton door release has failed twice in the last 6 mos. I fixed it myself the first time, but I knew the design would cause it to fail again...and it did.

The KCMS2055 is less than 5 years old and stopped heating! Crazy high price for POOR QUALITY appliance! Don't buy it!

Disappointing

We purchased this microwave in 2012 to match our other Kitchen aid appliances - unfortunately the door switch went bad and microwave wouldn't power on in 2017 and now the microwave won't work at all in 2019. We had to purchase a trim kit for this microwave -- now we have to replace the microwave - thought it would last longer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
