It is good phone for the peson looking for a phone that is easy to use and is not looking for a cumbursome machine.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, slid out keyboard with back lit ad big buttons
Cons: Not high def, you have to pay for gmail use, have to pay for email!, camera does not have a zoom fuction!!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Features...Poor battery life and performance

For the first month this phone worked awesome. I could go 3 days without charging it. No performance issues. Since then as soon as I lose one bar the battery life decreases extremely fast to zero bars within 3 hours. I now have to charge it almost every day. The phone will also turn off in the process of sending text messages and making phone calls. This usually happens once every couple of days.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive
Cons: poor performance
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Awesome phone, really innovative in design and quality, one concern is the battery, it seems that many people including me are having problems with the phone resetting or freezing, turning off then back on again and then taking forever to return to its normal state so that you can text and/or call freely. And the camera isnt of very high quality
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Not high def, defective

The phone is a great design, easy qwerty keyboard access. Voice quality is good. The camera os good, just wish it had zoom fearure. The biggest issue that I have with it is that it shuts down and reboots, on it's own at the most inopertune times. Origional instrement was replaced and the replacement started the same thing. It is, as noted by another review, slippery!
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: just shuts off on it's own
I would recommend this to a friend!

Second brand new phone I've been issued by the insurance company to replace my old flip phone. It worked for a few days after activation. Now when I make calls I can connect and be billed for minutes but we can't hear each other. This phone is garbage, and I will never buy any Samsung product.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, doesn't work

Hate the rebooting issue!

After I bought this phone and signed a 2-year contract, I found a bunch of reviews online that said this phone has a bad tendency to reboot itself at random. I found this to be true with mine, too. At first I didn't know what was happening. I just noticed that sometimes my address book (contacts list) would not show up. It would say "Initializing", but then the contacts wouldn't appear. This is aggravating, and the only way I have found to fix it is to turn off the phone and turn it back on, usually more than once. Also, it seems to not have as good of a range of cell phone reception as my previous phone (a razr). I do like the slide out keyboard (and I'm getting used to the way it works). This is the main reason I bought this phone, but I won't buy another one once my contract is up!
Pros: Inexpensive, like the slide out keyboard
Cons: it reboots at random times
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this for my son. I've always had good luck with Samsung in the past. This is sub par. It has easy to figure out features, and I liked that about it. It constantly shuts itself off.
Pros: Inexpensive, easy to navigate, good picture quality
Cons: shuts down, freezes, bad reception
