This should have been a great purchase. Nice size, slide out keyboard, good design, and lots of features.
Unfortunately all of that is irrelevant if the phone keeps shutting off at critical times. Yesterday I was waiting for an important call at a scheduled time and instead of ringing, the incoming call prompted the phone to shut off and the caller immediately went to voicemail. This could have cost me an important opportunity. Often when I dial for a call, the phone shuts off when I hit send as well.
And finally the default on the menu is for a web based application. The slighest mis-keying on the phone has racked up unwanted data charges. This product will be exchanged for something more reliable immediately.
I wish I had done more research and seen other's complaints before making this purchase.

Phone powers off on it's own. That alone makes it nearly useless. Sometimes I look at the phone after I haven't had a call or text in a while, and it's off. I used to use it as my wakeup alarm until one morning it didn't go off, I looked at it, and it was off. It ONLY does this once a month or so, but that still makes it very unreliable. And, it's not like the battery is loose. It doesn't just lose power and go blank, it actually shuts down with a splash screen and everything. Sometimes it powers right back up, sometimes not. It has to be a software flaw to do that, but they haven't released any flash update.
Cons: shuts off at random
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Got this phone as a Christmas present, so naturally I didn't check the reviews prior to buying. Wish i had because I wouldn't have bought it. This one shuts off by itself too then won't turn back on unless I connect the charger, even tho the battery isn't drained. The battery has been replaced & the problem remains. TRUST ALL THE BAD REVIEWS AND AVOID THIS PHONE!
Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations

Want to throw my phone at the wall!!!

Had nothing but trouble with these phones. Both my husband and I have the same phone and have the same problems. They both shut off on their own all the time. While I'm in the middle of typing a text it will restart on its own and I loose all that I was typing. I find trying to send a text very cumbersome. I have to go through too many buttons just to get to my texts and then to pick someone to send to.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations

A great phone with a major problem

This phone turns itself off randomly. Doesn't matter where you are or what you are doing - the thing just goes off without you knowing it. You miss important calls, texts, emails and a lot of people are left hanging- and your business suffers. I'm on my 3rd phone of the same make and model (warranty replacements by my carrier), and every one of them has the same software problem. Reviews by others around the country tell the same story.
Pros: Bright display, easy qwerty keyboard, super camera, tons of memory, user friendly, good battery life
Cons: shuts off randomly, att product support blows

I would not recommend this phone unless you want to waste your money. Ive had mine almost two months. Two days after my thirty day warranty was up it started turning on and off by itself. Not fun when you've typed out a big long text and as your gong to send it it turns off. Ease of use isn't really great but ok. All the apps on it are useless Ive never bought a phone before where every app on it you have to pay to use.So save your money and buy something else.

This phone goes out/shut down all the time.

This phone is not good. It shuts down all the time (even when the battery is fully charged). It is dangerous when I do not have quick access to my phone. I have to take out the battery and wait a few minutes before putting it back in and turning it back own. Sometimes it still will not turn on, I get the circle "in limbo". I have to take out the battery again and wait again. It will also block me from making calls indicating I can only make "emergency" calls. Again, I have to follow the above process to get it to work. I do not like this phone and will not recommend it to anyone. I am waiting until I can replace this piece of junk. I have a friend with the same phone and she has the same problem. She wants to get rid of her phone too!
