I am not sure I would purchase an electric model because the panel is so sensitive to the touch! I have to lock it or I seem to turn it on! I also should have checked out moving the oven racks while hot! They are not easy to move! Found that out cooking my Chrstmas meal and needing to move them to a different position!

I purchased this Electrolux range for my kitchen remodel and have been using it for the past few months. I love to cook and am in the kitchen all the time. This is a great product. The stove top heats up evenly and quickly and cools down quickly too, and I love the options for pot and pan sizes. The wave touch controls are easy to use and understand - quite intuitive so it doesn't take long to get cooking when you first install. I also love NO KNOBS! The double ovens are terrific! I LOVE having the second baking oven on the bottom as taking out heavy turkeys etc is so much easier with the big oven on top - and the drawer makes it a snap to lift out casseroles etc. The convection option, the probe, the rapid preheat are some of my favorite options and I can't say enough about the ball bearing racks inside! I've only seen these on WOLF or VIKING professional ovens and combined with the cobalt blue interior and the lights in the FRONT and one up and one down you can see and operate the oven so much more easily! Of all my kitchen updates this range is my favorite - and it looks BEAUTIFUL, SLEEK and works amazingly with my new pot filler above. I cannot recommend this product enough - the only thing you'll notice is the top streaks with water spots and is very visible because of the black to and it will scratch easily with the stainless steel trim around the top that keeps drips/spills from going down the side of the stove so you'll want to be aware when shaking pans or taking off lids and setting them down...to remove the water spots I clean it with the ceramic cleaner recommended and have to dry it off every time, but that's just cosmetic...Overall, I just love this range!

After doing a lot if research, I purchased this oven in 2008. Overall, it's been okay and it does have a lot of features (more than I would ever really use). I like the touch controls on the front and the burners work fine. However, I've been disappointed in the length of time it takes to heat the oven (about 20 minutes or more just to get to 350 degrees). Also, we've had trouble with the door latch. I have to hold it closed during the last few minutes of preheating and the light stays on because the door won't close properly. The few times I've tried using the second oven, things have turned out burned. I probably would not recommend it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's simply the best stove I have ever cooked on. It comes with tons of features, half of which we have not used but it boils water in no time and the selectable burner size is great. The cooking surface is sleek and easy to clean. The buttons are up and out of the way of my little one's curious fingers. We own a washer and dryer as well. We are big, big, fans of the line.
