Thermostat burns out

third or forth thermostat burnout. Usually go's out after self cleaning mode, it gets too hot and burns it out

Thank you for sharing your range experience with us, d123. During self-clean all the components of the oven are under far more stress as compared to a normal cooking cycle. This is due to the fact that an oven cleaning cycle heats up the oven to just under 900 degrees as opposed to an average cooking cycle at a mere 350 degrees. New Stove with great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a new glass top stove & initially concerned about clean up & scratching. So far No problems. Although I did not have the cream that was supposed to come with the stove to coat it from damages. Foods cook really fast & baked foods turn out really nice!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Door wont close and top is terrible to keep clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We moved into our new home with a full set of electrolux appliances, and I have to say aside from the washer and dryer, I am supremely disappointed and will stay away from this brand for new ones in the near future. This oven door does not stay closed! I have to use the lock out feature to keep the door closed, and the light off. And if I want to actually bake in the oven, I have to STAND IN FRONT OF IT AND HOLD IT CLOSED, otherwise the door is open and the heat escapes the entire time! Thank goodness we have a great toaster oven that I can bake most things in. Finally, the top has such a thick edge around the cooking area and the control panel, that all kinds of gunk gets stuck all around. When you clean, and wipe, the gunk gets lodged under the rubber gaskets of the edging and you just cant get it out-I guess a vacuum might work, but who wants to lug out a vacuum to your stove everyday?!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
