Loved it until it didn't work

I bought this range 5 years ago and have had a love/hate relationship with it ever since...mostly love. It is a beautiful piece of equipment but the engineering is faulty. The relay fuse for the self clean oven had to be reset or replaced every time the oven was cleaned. The panel board had to be replaced and the mother board had to be replaced. Finally the range was deemed too expensive to continue fixing and I was issued a full refund including tax. This was after almost 5 years of use. I was heartbroken as I truly did love cooking and baking on my range. I wanted to replace it with another one just like it, however Electrolux no longer makes this range in white and I do not like Stainless Steel. I am seriously considering paying out of pocket to keep this one working....oh well, sometimes good sense must over ride emotion. Good bye Dear Range, I shall miss you.

Love love love this oven! Didn't think it would make that big of a difference, but literally everything that comes out of the oven tastes better. Cannot explain it..

I bought this appliance in July but it wasn't installed until August. It is very easy to use and has so much to offer that I haven't had the time to try all the options. It looks beautiful and I love it.

Lots of features

I purchased this range in September from a store that was going out of business. When we brought it home and had it installed it didn't work. We called Electrolux and found out that the model we purchased had been on display for six years. They promptly sent out a repairman who had to order a part. The part that was ordered resolved the issue and were able to use it for Thanksgiving dinner. Although I did not use the Perfect Turkey mode, I plan to use it soon to test it out. Overall I like the features and like that it is easy to clean

Nice range but does have a serious technical issue

I have owned this range for approximately 2 years. I love the range, cooks well, has some very nice features and looks great. However, if you set the self cleaning cycle to anything higher than "lite" (it has a medium and heavy setting), the oven will fault and the thermostat will have to be replaced. At least this is my experience. It has happened twice. I wrote to Electrolux customer service and received this reply, "unable to locate any known issues with your model and serial range" , this despite reviews that say otherwise. It is unacceptable to me for a range to "fault" when using a provided feature! I recommend that Electrolux review this model carefully and provide a fix for the problem. Thank goodness, I bought a five year extended warranty!!!
