Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to write a review on your new refrigerator. We regret your experience. Please click on the link below for troubleshooting tips:
The refrigerator is fine except for two items. Inside the freezer door had small frozen drops hanging off the rubber seal. They appear to be gone. When opening the refrigerator door, one has to bend down to put items into the refrigerator.
I have always purchased GE products and have been happy with them. My choice of this refrigerator was based on size, for the space I had. Very similar to past products; however, I am disappointed with the shelving. They can only be adjusted at two levels, not in numerous increments, as in past models. Door storage is excellent. The wire shelf in the freezer does not meet the back wall; therefore, small items fall or get caught between the shelf and wall.
I am upset that I needed to be aware of no freezer light indicated anywhere on the spec's or anywhere for the refrigerator/freezer I received. I had a freezer 30 years old or slightly older that had a light in the freezer and even before that I never had a refrigerator/freezer that did not have a light so I wasn't aware of I purchased one with no light in the freezer. In this day and age how weird!!! I have always trusted General Electric for having the best appliance possible and have always thought them to be up front with descriptions, now I know better. How unfortunate for me to trust since I grew up with all GE products.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello,
Thanks for taking the time to write a review. Many factors go into the design of our products and consumer input is a top priority. Other factors, such as consumer expectations, manufacturing, cost, changing technology and product appearance are also part of the design decision.
Your comments are important to us and we will forward them to our product design team.
I bought this product a month ago. I am very pleased with it. I love the width and depth of the refrigerator. I can put lots of items in the side door. Also the butter dish can comfortably hold more than 4 sticks of butter. I made the right choice.
