Additionally, it's not unusual on a two-door refrigerator for one door to pop open when the other door is being closed. Please take a look at this link for some great tips to prevent this from happening: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=16979
We hope this helps and if any questions come up, please reach out! - Sharon@GEA
I purchased this fridge to replace my last GE after having it for 30+ yrs; which is what encouraged me to purchase another. The price point was great, GE stands behind their products but wish there was a light in the freezer like my previous unit and was finger print resistant. Aside from that, recommend this unit
Awesome refrigerator. Massive top freezer and lots of room in refrigerator. Researched product on-line and glad I did. No salesman to try and steer me towards other brands etc... Wanted this refrigerator specifically. My go to store was out of stock and wouldn't order, so I went to my second favorite. In stock and cheaper than MSRP. Can't beat that.
Not often would I feel compelled to write a review about a fridge that came with the apartment im renting, yet here I ham.
Cons: fridge has very weak magnets in the door and doesn’t like to stay shut or to shut when it’s almost shut.
The fridge’s layout is horrible. The only place a gallon of milk will feet - even if you adjust the shelves - is the top shelf, or the door. The warmest parts of the fridge.
There is one temperature control for the fridge and freezer. Set it at the recommended setting and food in the back of your fridge will freeze. Want your food to not freeze? Well then a good chunk of the fridge will be in the danger zone when it comes to temperature.
It’s obvious the “budget special” for faux luxurious apartments.
Pros: it looks halfway decent from the outside when it’s closed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Why it works great now? My first fridge was delivered on 2021/10/02 and the freezer was not working correctly the drainage had something stuck in it and after 2 technicians tried to fix it and couldn't .I was sent another fridge that's working great
