Very spacious

The refrigerator is very spacious. I like the layout and the sliders for the vegetable and fruit drawers. Door shelves are wide. Freezer is great size.

We did considerable research before purchasing our GE appliance and we know we have a top-of-the-line appliance. Also, the customer support at Plugs in Charleston, SC was absolutely amazing in answering our questions about many different appliance brands.

Classic White Fridge

Ordered this fridge from mom who is in her late 70's. She wanted a traditional white fridge. It is really nice and very spacious and clean looking. It is very sturdy and has a built-in ice maker factory installed. Typically on these models you need to buy an ice make kit, but this one had it built in. Very happy with purchase!

Poor temperature control

I am very disappointed with this product.. The freezer is hard to regulate. When you get the right temperature in the refrigerator it's not cold enough in the freezer or Vin the freezer or vice versa. I will never buy another one that doesn't have dual thermostats that's. And then to make matters worse every time I close the refrigerator door the freezer door pops open a little. I end up throwing out ice cream and things that get too soft because warm air is seeping in
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If your ice cream is too soft, you may need to experiment to determine the best temperature control setting. Great Fridge

Fridge is big enough for the family and small enough to fit in the fridge space we have in our kitchen I recommend this GE - GIE21GSHSS series for any family!
