All GE appliances were provided by builder of new home. GE quality brand.
The plastic plate around ice/water dispenser could be more sturdy. Tabs plastic and break easily. The ice maker requires you to pull all the way out to shut off. Would prefer they would redesign this so you do not have to pull the ice tray out full to turn the switch off. Overall, does the job for a fair price.

This is an average side by side fridge. Space management inside is ok. I have owned the unit for 7 months without any mechanical issues. The ice maker works well and has not jammed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Broken and 21months.

Builder had these kitchen appliances come w the house. 21months later. Fridge is hot between doors meet. Fan doesn't work and compressor is very hot to touch. Also nothing running so think the main board is broken as well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If you haven't already done so, try shutting off the circuit breaker that provides electricity to your appliance. Leave it off for a minute or two before restoring power.
