Like water and ice dispenser

The only feature I like about the side by side fridges is the water and ice dispenser. Limited space.

makes too much noise

we have had this refrigerator only 6 months. All our new appliances are GE and I have found no fault with any of the other products, but this refrigerator constantly makes "water dripping" noises. I read the quick use and care guide and it said "gurgling noises like boiling water" was normal and it may make these noises due to he flow of refrigerant through the cooling coils and during the defrost cycle, and maybe when closing the door, but our refrigerator makes these noises about 75% of the time and this just seems excessive to me. We have even had guests comment to say "what is that sound" when visiting us which is somewhat embarrassing. We have never had another refrigerator make so much noise like this. For this reason, I will probably not purchase another GE refrigerator.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Brought this product 2 1/2 weeks ago and the water and ice dispenser is inoperable. However, I like it: spacious and keeps things cold and fresh.
