Get the service plan, you will need it.

I loved this cook-top (Model # EW30CC55GS) from day one. We paid a ton of money for it,but the features were worth it to me. I highly suggest buying the best service plan you can get. Reason for that is that mine bit the dust just after 3 years! So so sad... I spent the last 2 weeks looking for another with the same features and could not find one I liked. Yes, I did it again. Just bought another one of these. Now I have a 5 year plan from Sears that I can re-new. I feel extremely disappointed it only lasted that long. Feel better that Sears is backing me up with service. Purchase at your own risk.
Oh, by the way, our Electrolux microwave only lasted 2 and 1/2 years, we replaced it with LG, and love it. Our dishwasher leaks occasionally when food sneaks under the gasket that seals it, so we always use a drip pan to protect our new wood floors. In addition, we purchased the double wall ovens at the same time, which I love, but the inside lighting fixture went after 8 months. At least it was still under the warranty and only had to pay for the service call. Our Electrolux Refrigerator is still working great (holding our breath and savings). All appliance were purchased at the same time, about 3 years ago.
