Induction Cook Top

I love the fact that I can place a towel on the cooktop when I am cooking. It helps to keep the cook surface clean. I have had this almost 2 years and still like to show off how quickly I can boil water.

Love my induction cooktop

I absolutely love my induction cooktop. I had to purchase the hybrid because of our homes wiring, but I actually like having both the radiant and induction elements. One of my favorite things to do is show my friends how quickly I can boil water. The induction cooks very quickly and evenly. The only downside is that when you turn off the cooktop the heat is gone. So we find that going back for seconds your food tends to have cooled more than usual.

Great hybrid cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beautiful cooktop. Flat surface allows for easy cleaning. Instant fan of induction technology. Quick soure of heat and much safer. Having both induction and conventional heating elements allows me to still use my copper pots which are not induction compatible. Very pleased with the purchase.

Everything was broken

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was not able to cook anything on it. Never worked. Induction board, wireing harness, mother board all broken. Took back to place of purchase

Cleaning and Stainless Steel

I really like this cooktop from a cooking perspective, it works great. BUT, it is not easy to clean or not easy to make it look like its clean. I'm constantly having to use a razor blade to get stuff off the surface. I've tried the cleaners that came with the product and sometimes a razor blade is the only answer.
In addition, no one said that the stainless steel would scratch so easily. Set one pan on top of it and bump it and you have a scratch. At this point, the stainless steel looks scratched and messy. Not in line with the clean, simple lines I was going for.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchaaws an electtrolux Radiant/Inducton Electric Cooktop, oven, and dishwasher in 2009. These were very expensive but I thought I was buying the best. Two years ago the dishwasher stopped working. I had to buy a new one. Yesterday the cooktop stopped working. I really can't believe they didn't last longer than this. I am so disappointed. I have family coming in for the holidays and no way to cook unless I buy a new cooktop.

This Thing ROCKS!

We purchased this cooktop last summer as part of our kitchen remodel. We couldn't be happier with it. The hybrid element boils water in about a minute, all of the elements heat and cool quickly and consistently allowing for a great cooking experience and predictable results. For an electric cook top, that's exaclty what you'd like! We couldn't be happier.
