The dishwasher is only a few years old and we have had a leak in the system. I was informed that this is a common problem and will most likely happen again. If the company knows it's a problem why not come up with a fix that so the product is right to begin with?
My machine is not as quiet as I had hoped. It's hard to pinpoint when it's noisiest as it seems to fluctuate over time. But it is better than many out there.

Very good but could be better

Have had this for about 8 months. REALLY quiet - this is the best feature of the washer. Touch controls easy to understand and use. Two criticiisms - first , if dirty dishes left in waher for a few days, these don't get cleaned well - dried on food does not get washed off. Second, using liquid dishwasher soap leaves soap residue on whatever dish is in the lower rack closest to the soap dispenser. Have had glasses with a large streaki of soap on them after a normal wash cycle.

Would not recommend any Electrolux appliances

We own five Electrolux appliances, all installed 2009. Upon installation the door dropped to the floor with no stopping point. Three calls to the company and two service calls they finally replaced the door and labeled it defective. Dishwasher doesn't dry the dishes, it leaves pieces of detergent on the dishes no matter how they are arranged or the type and amount of dry detergent used I was advised by the commpany to use 1-2 teaspoons of detergent but never more than a tablespoon. You will also fine pieces of detergent in the main wash cup. Nothing works. Dishwasher has an odor and you will always have water standing under the glass trap filter. Also advised by company to run washer empty on sanitize cycle once a month to clean lines and get rid of odor with a special cleaner. Again, nothing works! The only way Eletrolux company will replace a piece of appliance is if you buy the Extended Warrenty. Why pay the extended warrenty if we went top of the line in the first place. I am a Family and Consumer Science teacher who is very disappointed in Electrolux appliances.

Do not purchase !!!

Has broken down 2 times in first 9-10 months, 3 rd time was 2 days past warrranty so sorry for your luck!!! I would advise against purchasing this unit unless you want to wash your own dishs. 4-6 weeks for parts and repair!!! Stay Away, beware!!!!

Beautiful but awfully flawed

We've owned this dishwasher for three years and replaced the pump three times. Error code 3 came up again last week. That would make four replacements plus the original with which it came. It's out of warranty now and we are looking to replace a top-of-the-line three year old dishwasher. What a disappointment. Based on the overwhelmingly negative reviews all over the internet, I am shocked by all the favorable reviews on this website. Even at Consumer Affairs website, 78% have written negative reviews.

You get what you pay for.

Expensive, but definitely high-end. Literally "whisper-quiet"; was able to carry on a whispered conversation within 10 feet of the dishwasher, mid-cycle.
Tall tub with huge capacity, though this means the bottom of the tub is a couple of inches lower than a conventional machine. Worth getting used to.
Clean design, solid feel. Door clicks open and closed without a latch button, and feels very secure.
Blue light to indicate complete cycle is cool.
My only complaint is that there is nothing to indicate the machine is running. This sounds like a silly quibble until you understand how incredibly quiet it is. Very easy to open it up mid-cycle. Perhaps a discreet red LED to shine on the floor while it runs? Absolutely my only complaint.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Follow up to review on 6-02-12 Error Codes

Today error code 3 indicates pump problems as soon as I cleared that it gave me error code 11 and it won't clear. Really very disappointed in this appliance. I know there are excellent reviews (19) on this site but we have had nothing but problems over the several years we have had it.

Dishwasher is the not good

This dishwasher is terrible for many reasons: doesn't clean, breaks down frequently, has a bad ordor and does not dry dishes.
