Buy warranty if you buy

We bought this January 4, 2009. We are on our 4th warranty call. Thank goodness we bought the 4 year extended warranty plan. Computer cable loose, Water sensor alarm due to leaking gasket, and the second time now to replace the rollers for the lower basket.
Very quiet. Washes as well as any other.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Wave Touch Dishwasher Repair prone

Purchased this dishwasher in Jan 2009. We were impressed with how quiet it was, you had to put your ear to the machine to hear it working. You cannot fill the racks as full as the manual states because all dishes will not be cleaned - dishes will be too close together. When you space them out, it cleans very well. We have had 3 repair issues - 7 months after the warranty expired, wash motor stopped. Electrolux did send a replacement motor, we paid for repair/installation. Five months later, it developed an electrical problem and quit working - we paid for the repair. Then 5 months after this repair, it quit working and noted and error code 01 (leak detected). No water leak found, but repair center thought control panel was bad. Another repair cost $400 parts/labor. Maybe this dishwasher was made on a Monday or Friday. Even so, for the price paid, it should be of better quality.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

the worst dishwasher ever!!!

It's a quiet dishwasher I will give it that!!
Beside that STAY WAY!!!! I just bought everything new and to match the stainless I got a new dishwasher, the wall unit (27' /30' electric microwave combination (Another horrible product - the microwave can not make popcorn!!! The oven is ok), and the fridge.
The dishwasher doesn't clean!!! Coffee from a white mug... forger it! Chocolate from a glass, don't even think about it!!! You are better off washing your dishes by hand... because you will have to redo it anyway more then half of it!!!
Another thing, is that beside looking beautiful and being so quiet (big plus), The machine has NOT one sign outside that let you know that is working.... so if you run your dishes and someone else come to the room, they will open, and not know that the machine is working.... I wish some kind of light or mechanism would sign that the machine is on!

You get what you pay for.

Expensive, but definitely high-end. Literally "whisper-quiet"; was able to carry on a whispered conversation within 10 feet of the dishwasher, mid-cycle.
Tall tub with huge capacity, though this means the bottom of the tub is a couple of inches lower than a conventional machine. Worth getting used to.
Clean design, solid feel. Door clicks open and closed without a latch button, and feels very secure.
Blue light to indicate complete cycle is cool.
My only complaint is that there is nothing to indicate the machine is running. This sounds like a silly quibble until you understand how incredibly quiet it is. Very easy to open it up mid-cycle. Perhaps a discreet red LED to shine on the floor while it runs? Absolutely my only complaint.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Worst Dishwasher, do NOT buy!

We have had this Dishwasher, for several months now, and I can honestly say this is the WORST dishwasher, I have ever had. That is saying alot, since I lived in rental apartments for years in college. I have had to rewash more dishes than I have in my entire life combimed since owning this diswasher!
The only good thing I can say about this Dishwasher is it is quiet.
There is absolutely NO way I would ever recommend this dishwasher!!!

Never Buy any Electrolux Brand Appliances

When I renovated my kitchen I bought the microwave, dishwasher , oven,warming drawer, beverage cooler all Electrolux, the dishwasher, is having problems since last two years.. Purchased through sears, with a protection warranty. Sears have replacement every part of the dishwasher still the dishwasher does not clean the dishes or dissolve the tab or liquid soap. I was told to run the washer with cleaning solution, vinegar,baking soda, I did all this even after this the dishwasher is still not working, I even started the hot water before the wash cycle.
Sears technician have been 15 times for repair, (no kidding) still does not work. And sears says they have no lemon replacement policy, but they will not replace the machine.
I have always shopped from sears for all my other appliances, washer, dryer, Refrigerator since I never had problem with the other appliances never knew Sears policy which is terrible customer service.

The microwave has problems too, since I have not used the warmer and the oven more than 2 times, I do not know if there is problem.
Do not buy this dishwasher, or go to sears for appliances.

Not so good

This dishwasher looks good. Large capacity and all the bells and whistles, but it breaks....a lot. Many error codes that you can't fix yourself and expensive repairs. We will have to replace soon even though it was fixed under warranty....it keeps displaying error codes. Not happy .

Disappointing

Unfortunately, this dishwasher has not held up to the expectations I had for this brand. Dishes do not come as clean as I would like, food is often still on the plates after it is run, and silverware seldom is clean. I have 3 other Electrolux appliances that all work very well - however, the dishwasher is not one of the best I have had.
