The dishwasher is only a few years old and we have had a leak in the system. I was informed that this is a common problem and will most likely happen again. If the company knows it's a problem why not come up with a fix that so the product is right to begin with?
My machine is not as quiet as I had hoped. It's hard to pinpoint when it's noisiest as it seems to fluctuate over time. But it is better than many out there.

Keeps breaking

I have had my dishwasher about 2 years and this is the 2nd time it has broken for the same code. With the cost of this dishwasher I would expect it to work longer then 2 yrs without breaking. It is frustrating when you load it up only to find out you have to hand wash everything!!! It's kinda expensive to use as a drying rack.

Problem after problem

Well, the first one had problem after problem and I eventually insisted that instead of the continuing process of service call after service call, I wanted it removed and replaced, which Electrolux did and for which I commend them. Well now the second one has had many problems and two or three service calls. Currently we are awaiting a new gasket to stop the occasional leak, a new digitical mother board because some times it doesn't work and the "I'm finished" light never goes off, and the a new connection for the upper drawer washer because it doesn't clean at all.

Leaks!

I bought this dishwasher in March 2011 because of it's looks, capacity and Electrolux's reputation for quality products. I had top-rack cleaning issues from day 1, but...I have tried to manage that by pre-rinsing and being very careful in how it's loaded. I'm sorry to say that now, 8.5 months later, I'm waiting for a repair because it's leaking on the floor, setting the Error 01 leak code. I then looked online to see reviews on this model and...just since March, there have been MANY complaints of the same issue...one where the product had to be repaired 10 times and still leaked! Hope they fix it the first time for me, or I'm asking for a replacement DW, one without whatever design issue is causing this problem.

Dishwasher is the not good

This dishwasher is terrible for many reasons: doesn't clean, breaks down frequently, has a bad ordor and does not dry dishes.

Very good but could be better

Have had this for about 8 months. REALLY quiet - this is the best feature of the washer. Touch controls easy to understand and use. Two criticiisms - first , if dirty dishes left in waher for a few days, these don't get cleaned well - dried on food does not get washed off. Second, using liquid dishwasher soap leaves soap residue on whatever dish is in the lower rack closest to the soap dispenser. Have had glasses with a large streaki of soap on them after a normal wash cycle.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Would Not Buy Again

The pump failed after 2 and a half years. There are much better products out there for a fraction of the price.

not so estatic

We bought the electrolux thinking it was the top of the line. That it would do a exceptional job. We have had this dishwasher for 2 years, and for the last 6 to 9 months their is a film on my dishware. The only way to get it out is by washing them by hand. Not so happy.
