Larger than I expected.

This machine is great It has a larger capacity than I expected and it works very well. I has many convenient features--bleach and softener dispensers. I like that it does not lock right away and if needed I can check the water level or add an item or two after the washer starts. It is compact in size and attractive. It is quieter than the older two piece stack set it replaced.

Quiet, Energy and Water Efficient!

This compact laundry center gets my clothes clean and gives me several options for load capacity, temperature, and washing action. As an environmentalist, I am pleased that the autoload sensing feature does not overload the washer with water. The dryer also provides several options from no heat to regular. I generally use the medium heat setting.

A perfect fit

This unitized design is the perfect fit for the small space we decided to use for our laundry area. The unit is nicely designed and I love the large capacity. It was quite expensive, so I hope we get a lot of years of use out of it. The only thing we don't like is that it makes a very disconcerting grinding noise when it is changing cycles. We also haven't been able to figure out how to deactivate the pause for adding softener. As long as that doesn't mean it has a defect, we can live with it because it is perfect otherwise.

No problems, keep your loads small and use a small amount of detergent. Not a bad machine.

Sensible, Serious, Sold!

1950's cinderblock cottage, wood beams. Tried an HF washer/dryer, was a freight train and vibrated the whole house. Researched a TON of systems, bought this for: Space saving, highly efficient, self-balancing, spin rate (MUCH lower than HF), mechanical workings. Family-company installers said it is the easiest unit to install EVER. Chosen over much smaller-capacity competition, and USA influence.
We call it "The Gronkulator," due to the sounds it makes-it is serious about its job and a trade from the horrid vibration and SOUND of the EF, to the switching sounds and "the laundry march" song it makes as it works. We love it. Clothes are incredibly clean and I like that we can adjust the water-we have a well/septic, and can splurge a bit with water usage. Dryer is efficient and DRIES, unlike the HF dryer that I fought with all the time. I normally hang my clothes outside to dry, though-my preference.
Dislikes: No bell when cycle is done. No light in the dryer.
