I would not suggest anyone buying this as the dryer leaves black marks on my laundry. As of this writing I am once again doing a load of whites to see if it is fixed. I am very unhappy with this product and the time I have spent with repair people.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a very small laundry room, so when I needed a new washer and dryer I decided to buy the Spacemaker. It has been a great machine. We are a family of 4 with lots of laundry. It cleans well and I like all the different options it has.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Many features on water temps for washer and heat temps for dryer. Actually, several other features installed as well. Waiting to see if energy efficiency is accurate. Only poor feature is sound. Quite noisy on the washer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a very small space, so we have to have a washer/dryer combo. This is the first time I have seen an 'Engery Star' rated combo. The capacity in the washer and dryer are more than earlier models. The noise is less.

Great washer and dryer combo

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed a washer and dryer that would fit in a small area in our guest bathroom as going up and down the cellar stairs to do laundry is no longer an option for me. This fit perfectly in the small space we had. The washer is a good size (3.4 cf) and can handle a large load of clothes. Many choices of cycles: Reg, Permanent Press, Delicates. I have used them all. The dryer works good. Also has several cycle choices. It is an energy star unit. I researched many and this is the only unit I found that has that feature. I have only two minor complaints: one is that if you put too many things in the dryer at once, they will come out really wrinkled. So smaller wash loads for the dryer. Second, no warning buzzer that the dryer is done, so you will have to keep track of that if you want to get things out as soon as the dryer is finished.
All and all, I could not be happier with this product. Loving total upstairs living!!
