Quiet and easy to use

Easy to use, cleans clothes well, very quiet. Only wish some of the cycles didn't take so long. Even the quick wash takes 46 minutes. Seems a little long to wash but very happy with the performance thus far.

Too much vibration

We bought this washer because of the new features and the reputation of GE. The fact that you have to place clothes in the tub just right or it will vibrate is frustrating at best. Even when the clothes are just right it shakes. I would like to have my old one back and you can have this new one back.

More trouble than its worth

Awful experience, wish I could return it! Have had a repairman at our home three times in about three months. The last time was to replace the panel and we had to wait two weeks for the part. Just buy something else.

Sounds like a jet liner taking off

My husband and I despise our new washing machine and I hate that we didn't return it over the holidays. On the spin cycle, it is so loud as to sound like a jet taking off. It rattles, bangs, and thunks its way through the spin. We have a utility room with its own door, but even that doesn't dent the roar of this angry machine. My husband and I still need to buy a dryer. I can tell you what we won't be buyin after this washing machine experience. My one-star review is not an exaggeration. I hate, hate, hate this thing and am so disappointed after looking so forward to a new washer.

Nice Washer

We bought this due to the constant issues with our front loader. It is nice and saves on water but doesn't do a good job of cleaning really dirty clothes at all.

Very dissapointing

We've had this washer for a few months & I'm dissapointed! Washer starts & stops randomly & when it stops kid licks w/ clothes in it! Randomly comes on & continues wash!
Clothes tend to get uneven , especially sheets & blankets when on spin! Makes loud noise when uneven!!

Since the first load I was disappointed with this machine. The spin cycle is so loud it sounds like a helicopter. The tub is huge but if you put in a lot of clothes they are not clean. This is especially true with my husbands dirty jeans when he is done working in the garden.

Washer doesn't work

Had this machine delivered today, and all it has managed to do successfully is make my clothes soaking wet. It can't get past the "load sense" function, it pauses and has to be restarted several times, it has yet to get to the actual wash cycle, and then when you select drain and spin to try to start the process over, it spins for maybe 2 minutes then stops. Clothes are not washed and you can't even place them in the dryer since they are still soaking wet from the spin cycle not functioning correctly. Contacted GE support and someone will be out in 4 days to check it - in the meantime I guess I can hand wash all my clothes.
