Well this is a huge upgrade for our family... However I can do laundry for my entire family in 1/3 of the time it used to take me... very easy to use self explanatory hubby even figured it out... love that it balances itself and does not walk across the floor :)

Concerned the washer will last. Since it broke after 3 months not sure if it was a good buy

I love my washer

I bought this washer a few months to replace a roper washer. I used the washer the first day and fell in love with it. It cut my washing time in half and both my electric and water bill went down.

It doesn't clean as well as the HE machine it replaced, but the top-loader is easier on my back. It is plenty large for washing a comforter or sleeping bag when needed. The drain hose is shorter than most and my drain is on the opposite side of the washer from where the hose comes out the back, so it wouldn't reach. I had to get another hose to use as an extender. I couldn't just change the hose because that would have required taking the whole back off the washer, which seemed like it would probably invalidate the warranty. Not well thought-out. A six-foot hose instead of a four-foot hose on a machine this large doesn't seem too much to ask. Or at the very least, it needs to be easier to change out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is the best washer in the history of washing machines!!! The only machine at the store that was easy to use for those not tech savy. I love it!!!
