The 5 cu.ft. washer is graet for larger families. I'm able to save money by doing less loads.

I bought this to replace stackable washer dryer set and I am so so happy with the machine. It is quiet, holds a very large load, and powers through it without hesitation. So glad I went back to a top load machine!

I always use general electric products with most of my appliances eg. Irons laundry appliances. One of my washers lasted 20 years, hair dryers ,clothes dryers etc I am fascinated with this company products. I encouraged the public to try them

Huge load capacity

Purchased recently to replace our 2003 GE profile Harmony which suffered a motor and control board failure, probably cause by a power surge during a storm. Best washer we ever owned up to now. This one has a massive load capacity which we use daily for our large family of nine. Easy choices on the rotary dial selector and then you can adjust settings up or down if you wish. Laundry comes out very clean. The only three things that I have found "different" are the flip up lid which is tall enough to block the shelf above and behind the washer, had to move items around for easy access. The digital display does not shows complete words, the letters scroll by. The machine also vibrates a little bit during the spin cycle, not a lot, but more than our old machine.
I would recommend this to a friend!
