Great washer, large capacity, made in USA

Had it a week and it's doing a great job of cleaning clothes and it takes far fewer loads than our old one. Seems to clean well. Spins clothes really dry so dryer time is reduced a great deal compared to old washer. Hope it lasts as long as our old washer!

Saved the Day

Our washing machine if 14 years finally broke. We ordered this machine because we needed a large capacity top loader as we don't have the space in our laundry room for a front loader. We loved that there was no Agitator Bar in the middle. I was totally impressed by how large the basket is. I also never realized how little water it uses. It's essentially a front loader turned on its side.
I also needed a machine that regulates the cold water temp since our well water is only about 42 degrees in the winter .

Great features, Cleans great

I did a lot of research before buying a new washer. I am happy to say the research paid off well. The tub is huge, for much larger loads, it cleans the clothes much better than any other washer I've ever owned, but leaving the clothes softer than I knew was possible! All while using a fraction of energy of any before. I would highly recommend this w as washer to anyone.

I just bought this washer and I couldn't be more pleased! I have 10 people in my house and this washer does in one load what my old washer did in three! Makes my life so much easier! I can't brag enough on how quiet it is either...I can only hear the water filling or draining, otherwise it's silent!!! Love, love, love it!

It's a good washer for the price

I bought this washer almost a year ago. Everything was great at first but the more washes the louder it got... First warranty service call and it hasn't even been a year.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We LOVE Our Giant GE Washer & Dryer Set

We recently replaced our washer with a GE 5.0 cu. ft. Top Load Washer, which we LOVE. Just make sure that you load your clothes around the edge (in a donut shape). You have to be able to see the big silver dot at the bottom of the tub. We always use the extra rinse, as we did with our prior washer, which also used HE detergent. We also replaced our very old dryer, to get one that could hold the same volume as the new washer. We selected the matching GE 7.8 cu. ft. Electric Dryer. We LOVE this washer and dryer set. They are huge, offers intelligent options for washing and drying cycles, they dryer has a nice interior light, and they play pleasant songs when they start and stop. We highly recommend this giant GE washer and dryer set.
