I like it. It's quieter than any other garbage disposal I've used. It's powerful, but maybe not as powerful as some others. It might take 15-20 seconds to disposed of a lemon. Sometimes things get liquefied quickly and sometimes they rumble around in there for a while -- I'm not quite sure why. But it all gets chewed up and disposed of. No bad smells. It's very heavy and both the countertop/sink installer and plumber commented how heavy it was. But that makes it quiet and keeps it from vibrating too much.

The old InSinkErator rusted out sooner than I thought it should.. This unit is a bit more pricey, but seems much more substantial. I was able to reuse the existing collar so installation was fairly easy. I had to block it up with 2x4s because I couldn't hold it in place with one hand...not that easy to work under the sink. So far has worked great. Of course time will tell how long it lasts.

This disposer was installed during a whole house renovation. I wanted one that was quiet since the house has an open floor plan and I didn't want it disturbing the rest of the house every time it was used. This one delivered. The only thing is being so big it takes up a lot of room under the sink, but it's worth it.
