QUIET and easy to Install!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced the extremely OLD and noisy disposal in our newly purchased home. It was easy to install and runs very quietly. I appreciate the no-vibration drain attachment which contributes to the overall quietness of the disposal -- in addition to the substantial noise dampening cover.

We replaced a KitchenAid waste disposer that we had used since we built our home 18 years ago. So, our only option was another KitchenAid. We went with the same HP rating and we chose this model because of its stainless steel construction and its outstanding durability. But the biggest feature of this unit is how quiet it is. We love it and it can handle a variety of food with ease. We could not have made a better choice.

Doesn’t miss a beat

He was a nervous wreck about the installation since he is not a plumber, but he easily installed it without a hitch or leak. The first job we had for this baby was 10 pounds of potatoe peels and they went down in one continuous feed after another. So glad we purchased this model and love it’s big mouth, it does not choke!

Long Lives and one still ticking

I bought a KitchenAid Imperial disposal - actually two of them - in 2004 for our two kitchen sinks. This weekend, one of them started dripping water from the bottom when turned on. I am guessing that after 14 years of daily operation, the unit's internal seals are worn out. I think I got my money's worth out of this purchase. The second disposal is still working fine and we never had a repair to either over the past 14 years.

So good, I bought two

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had one of these for several years. I really couldn't believe how quietly it ran, and how powerfully it obliterated anything put down the drain. You almost can't hear it running over the running water.
I was just waiting for the other InSinkErator to die so I could replace it without guilt. In comparison, it was much louder, took longer to clear objects, and finally died from citrus peels. With the second KitchenAid installed (all of 15 minutes), the vibration was gone, and the kitchen was quiet again.

Super quiet disposal

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was doubtful when salesman said this was very quiet as my current one was so loud we could not hear the TV , however, he was absoutely right, its so quiet I didnt think it was working, love it.
