AWESOME COOKING

BOTH MY WIFE AND I LIKE COOKING. WE HAD ANOTHER GE COOKTOP WHICH WE HAD FOR 52 YEARS, BUT THIS NEW ONE FAR SURPASSES THE OLD. WE BOTH HAVE COOKED ON A GAS RENAGE AND OUR NEW INDUCTION COOK TOP ALLOWS US TO FINE TUNE OUR COOKING SETTINGS JUST LIKE ON GAS.

We have all GE appliances, and when we needed a new cook top, we saw this one. Induction cook top and said that's for us. All smooth on top and quick heating. Looks nice and we are glad we bought it.

Unbelievable Cooktop

I have been using this cook top less than one month but it is living up to everything I read about it. Should have done this years ago. Most of our friends were skeptical when we told them we were buying induction but now they love it and will probably be getting one to replace their gas and electric cook tops.

I bought this about a month ago and love, love, love it! Would not have anything else. The only thing I was a little disappointed about was the options for pans. I had my mind set on Calphalon pans but not many options there. Wanted some colored ones. But still well worth it.

We just purchased this cooktop and already are so impressed with it. It was easy to install and very user friendly. We were amazed at how quickly it boiled water (about 1 minute!). I am very excited to start cooking with this.

This new cooktop is absolutely beautiful. Cooktop cooks items in half the time compared to our electric element cooktop. Recommend to everyone that induction cooking is the best.

The ONLY way to cook!

When I shopped for a new cooktop I knew absolutely nothing about induction cooking. I saw an induction stove on the showroom floor. I asked the sales person about it, and after his explanation about how it works I did extensive research on the internet about induction cooking, stoves and cooktops. I read many user ratings for the various brands of induction cooktops. The GE Model #PHP960DM2BB came up as one of the highest rated ones.
After much research and consideration I decided to go with the GE induction cooktop. It looks absolutely gorgeous in my newly renovated kitchen! It is a dream to cook on and a breeze to clean. I can't imagine ever going back to cooking on an electric or gas range.
I highly recommend the GE PHP960DM2BB induction cooktop to all who are in the market for a new cooktop. Some folks say the drawback is that you have to buy new cookware which have magnetic bottoms in order for the induction method of cooking to work. I didn't think of it as a drawback, but instead as an excuse to get a new set of pots and pans! BTW, it turns out that several of my favorite pots and pans do in fact have magnetic bases, and they work great on the new cooktop.
For those who are in doubt, do the research. You'll be glad you did!
