super fast and accurate cooking

Our first use of this induction cooktop was fantastic. I'm a guy and it was obvious even to me how to use it without reading the manual. (OK my wife read the manual later and confirmed I was using it correctly.) Water boils much faster than gas, frying bacon is much more consistent than with gas or electric as the temperate does not change. The area about the "burner" does not heat up and everything cools down faster so we don't heat the kitchen up-important in southern FL. We should have switched to induction cooktop earlier.

I read and re-read the instructions before I attempted to use this cooktop. I was lucky enough that my cookware actually works well on it and I didn't have to buy any new pans. I LOVE it! It's super fast, and very energy efficient. Cleans up with just a wet cloth.

Great cooktop!

We purchased this cooktop in Feb 2012 when we purchased our new home and remodeled the kitchen. We love to cook, wanted a 36" 5 element cooktop with a contemporary design and touch controls. This unit fit the bill. Set into the quartz countertop, the cooktop is simple and elegant. Cooking is very fast. Touch controls are intuitive and easy to use. When running on H, the element will emit a low hum/pulse as the temperature in the pot or pan comes up. We did have do buy new pots/pans as our old set was not induction compatible. Easy trick if you have cast iron cookware - place a paper towel on the element, then your pot/pan, as this will avoid scratches on the glass top. First time users should be cautious not to place anything on top of the control area (pan, plate, tea towel etc) as this will cause the cooktop to go into fail safe - all elements will flash E and beep loudly - and you will have to remove whatever caused the alarm, and then wait a moment to touch a control to reset the cooktop. We would definitely stay with induction cooktops in future homes

Gorgeous cooktop

This was a replacement cooktop, my other was ancient. I loved the upgrade! Smooth, easy to clean and easy to operate. The only thing I'm unhappy with it on is the touch sensors are quirky. Even in the lock mode, I can be cleaning it and the lights tend to flash and it beeps repeatedly
