Smooth top stove

3 months old, Performing as advertised. Place to touch for actual "on/off", including "controls" could be better defined. Cleaning was difficult at first but has been easier after some use. Use does require some "getting used to".
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fast, Cool Cooking

I like to cook on cast iron so this induction cooktop was a perfect fit when remodeling my kitchen. It is super fast at heating my pans, yet cools just as quickly. The stove top is easy to keep clean and looks very smart in my kitchen. Giving operation instructions to my stay-over guests has not been an issue. Even my 12 year old granddaughter found it simple to use. My only caution is don't run away as foods will cook faster so stay nearby and monitor whatever you are cooking. It won't be long before you bring a delicious treat to the table.

kind of let down with this unit. the touch sensors are kind of picky it takes alot of poking to turn it all the way up. the large burner is not very good i have a pan that is large and fits it but it doesn't get hot enough. and some times when you put two pans on one side you get a very annoying humming/ pulsing sound coming from the unit. and it's loud enough that my guests have commented about it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Oops - lose that drawer

Only realized that the cooktop required 12 to 14 inches of clearance for proper venting and prevention of combustion at time of installation. So, that utensil drawer I had build on the new island had to go. But it's all good! I love how quickly I can bring a pot to boil now and cleanup is a breeze. Since I can not have natural gas in my kitchen, this is the next best thing.
