Works Flawlessly and Is far Better Than Samsung

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had a Whirlpool for years and loved the simple features like the door swinging downward, which allows you to rest some the laundry on there without everything falling out, as well as having the lint removal on the surface. We even loved the flat top, so things don't slide off like they did with our new Samsung that was more expensive and didn't dry things well. This one combines everything we loved with the old one that we felt was too small, with all the newer technology, yet still old school enough to be as simple as simple can be!
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this dryer as a replacement to our 16 year old Maytag. Loads of nice features but not sure if I will ever use them...
So far so good except for the the door lock assembly that is sticking out (and somewhat sharp) that catches clothes every once in a while and damages the clothes especially sweaters. Learned to avoid that area but it's tricky. Whoever designed that wasn't thinking about how people would load their wet laundry....
And I have to say that I was a bit taken back by the fact that the description did not mention that I had to purchase special hoses for the steam option and an adapter for the gas hookup.
Other than that, the dryer is actually working well. The AccuDry system which is the feature we wanted seems to work fine after we figured out the right setting and the clothes no longer exposed to excessive heat like it used to on the old dryer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great at first, not so great now

The dryer was great at first. No matter what size load or setting, the load always came out dry. I noticed dryer sheets would get stuck on the inside at the bottom of the lint trap but was able to pull them out and just dealt with it. Now it’s taking 3 to 4 times to dry. We have cleaned out the hose all the way to the outside vent, had it checked out by a tech who pulled out some stuck dryer sheets and leveled it, we quit using dryer sheets, and it still does not dry in one shot. Very disappointed, especially since it is just outside the warranty. I have never had a dryer eat dryer sheets - very poor design.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great washer

Too long too dry

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old dryer was over 25 years old and took half the time to dry an average load of clothes. I would use the permanent press setting, but now I use the heat on high and it still takes forever.
