We liked the drop down door because it's easier for my wife to pull the items out without having them drop on the floor. Has all the design features we like at a great price

Whirlpool... the brand of my choice. This dryer is very efficient and was easy on my pocket book. I owned my last Whirlpool dryer for 28 years, and it wad still working quite well when I gave it away. Thank you Whirlpool for making efficient products.
