Just what I needed!

My previous gas dryer bit the dust a few weeks ago so while deciding what I wanted to replace it, I saw this model, the price was great, good features, bought it! Very roomy lighted interior, runs much quieter that my last one. Good buy! Very pleased!

Love the drop down door.

I had a dryer with a drop down door before and loved it. I specifically looked for a dryer with that feature. I like the lint catcher on the top of the dryer, and I think the extra money for a gas dryer is well worth it!

Whirlpool WGD49STBW Steam Gas Dryer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our old Whirlpool gas dryer quit on us a couple of weeks ago. I attempted a repair of the old one, figuring it might be a simple thermal fuse. The new fuse still did not fix the problem so we went over to HH Gregg and picked out this new replacement. HH Gregg had it for us in 3 days and it works fine.

Bought this on line and was very impressed. The door opens down which works out perfectly. Dry's cloths very efficiently and the larger drum make clothes less wrinkled. Have not yet used the steam function yet but very easy to use.
