Impressive engineering

The 850 is really an amazing, compact machine that produces beautiful photographs as well as prints, scans or copies documents clearly and rapidly. (It even faxes, but I haven't set that up) For a small apartment owner or anyone with space issues, who has high standards for photographs as well as home office needs, this machine can be a life-saver.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We love this printer. It does everything it's supposed to do. Setting up was a snap: all the menus and instructions worked perfectly and we were set up and ready to go in minutes. We've printed, copied, faxed and scanned and it's all very straightforward. Oh, except for 1 thing: we don't seem to be able to tell the scanner where on the hard drive to deposit scanned documents. It always puts them in "Photographs," for some reason, and we haven't been able to change that. Otherwise, we're very happy with it and would recommend it to anyone.

I like the printer an its fuctions. The only down fall is it uses alot more ink then my old printer. Ijust put ink in it and the black is almost gone an I am using epson ink which is not cheap

I've had the Epson XP 850 for a couple of months and it works very well. The ink carts that they send with it a skimpy. You will need to purchase new a carts in a couple of months with moderate use. So far so good.

Great printer. The automatic document feeder is a great plus that I really didn't consider when researching this printer. I use it all the time for copying, scanning, and faxing.
I bought it for on-site photo printing and it does that very well. Fast,high quality photos.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Color is exquisite for a multi task prinitng machine. It's so quiet it purrs. Can hardly hear it. Easy to navigate, simple for all tasks. I love it!!! Had the 800 model for years.

solid photo friendly multifunction printer

I wanted a great photo printer and this is it. It has 6 ink tanks for great color. It also has a dedicated paper tray for 4x6 or 5x7 paper, a separate tray for plain paper and even a duplex scanner. The only thing I wish it had was a bigger standard paper tray capacity and less pricey ink.

I found the printer to be fairly easy to set up. Prints well, my main concern right now is the photos. I have had lines going through the pictures. I changed my printer inks and did a head and nozzle cleaning. It has cleared for now but hope it does not continue to be a problem. I love the idea I can print from everywhere. That was my main reason to get the printer plus it has Iprint.
