This printer is fast and prints excellent photos. WiFi set up was a snap. The only thing that I am somewhat dissatisfied with is the paper feed. It's a bit sloppy. This doesn't matter for printing text, but I frequently make my own greeting cards and the bit of slop in the paper feed sometimes leads to an image not placed properly for the fold in the card stock.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Machine

Easy to set up. Scans true and prints fast and clear. A little noisy, but once you learn its not coming apart, it functions well. Only used it a week, and the ink seems to go quickly, although blogs seem to say the initial cartrigages are of low capacity. Finding non-eom refills is almost impossible. I've used Epson printers for over 30 years and find them all to reliable and lasting.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Only had it two days but works as expected and was relatively easy to set up with wireless and Fax etc.
Only concern at this time is the small size of the six ink tanks, plus the extremely high price for such small cartridges! Now I understand why there are so many online ads for ink tank systems to replace the cartridges. Time will dictate how much of a concern this turns out to be.

XP-850 Review

After several weeks of use, I am very pleased. I researched broadly before purchse, and decided the XP-850 was the correct price over performance selection for my home use. The installation process (network - not wi-fi) was very straightforward and without problems. The quality of the product is much better than other Epson printers I owned in the past, and to this point, printing performance has been quite good.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Setup was quick and simple. Very good quality print on Discs. Was pleased and surprised to find my kids could print from their cameras to my printer wherever they're at. Plan to use this function for my Grandson's 3rd Birthday party. Kids can take their pics home with them!

When my XP-350 works, it produces very good quality photo prints - crisp, good color & detail. Text quality has not been as crisp as my other brand all-in-one printer. Unfortunately within the last 6 months I have had to return 2 XP-350s to Epson for replacement. In both cases the print head malfunctioned. I am hoping number 3 is the charm. Customer Service has been excellent, but I would like no more problems.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great CD pinter!

SO far this printer has worked great for me in all areas. I have mostly used it for general printing, CD case printing and printing directly on CD's I am impressed with how quick it prints and the quality is good. It does not seem to use as much ink as I am used to. I have only printed a couple pictures but they printed nicely as well and the quality is good.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Works great after...

It worked great with my Apple & Dell computers but not until after I managed to download and install a double Firmware adjustment!
At first it didn't automatically search for updates and head ache city paid me a visit. I had to be persistent in my asking for an update before it gave up the needed update program for the Firmware fix which cleared up issues with both the USB and Network settings.
My photos could not look better!
My pictures all rated by my friends at a 15 on a scale of 1 to 10.
